Our Mission
BleedShield™ is a lifesaving training program created to give everyday people the skills, confidence, and readiness to respond to severe bleeding emergencies. Developed through the LyfeSafety Academy, BleedShield™ teaches practical, hands-on techniques—tourniquet use, wound packing, and direct pressure—that can keep someone alive until EMS arrives.
Our mission is simple: prepare ordinary individuals to take extraordinary action when seconds matter most. Whether you’re a parent, employee, coach, teacher, construction worker, or community member, BleedShield™ empowers you with the tools to protect the people around you.
All courses are taught by certified instructors with real-world safety and emergency response experience. We believe that lifesaving knowledge should be clear, accessible, and practical—because emergencies don’t wait, and neither should you.

Jamie brings over 30 years of experience in safety management, emergency response, and high-risk industry training. As a Certified Instructional Trainer and safety professional, he has trained thousands of workers across construction, industrial, and community settings. His mission is simple: to make lifesaving skills accessible, straightforward, and confidence-building for all.
LyfeSafety Academy Instructors
Every BleedShield™ class is taught by certified instructors who specialize in hands-on bleeding control training. Our instructors follow nationally recognized emergency response standards and bring real-world experience from safety, emergency medical, and crisis-response roles.
